Corsica cannot be defined differently than by " Ground of contrasts ". Here very collides: the abrupt(steep) Corsican Cape with its coasts and the green and blue water which surrounds it; austere mountains draped in the wild undergrowth, of the creeks reddening in majesty; impetuous torrents, of the peaceful lay; pity with the outlet of the mountains; being next ports the nodes. Corsica deserves the name well that the Greeks had given him, Kallisté: " most beautiful".
